The Colorado Warden's Northern chapter is hosting a newbie day on June 13th 2-5pm at the site of the Colorado Medieval Festival. 

Buhurt is a modern, full-contact combat sport where armored participants battle using blunt steel weapons in group melees, profights or duels.

?What to bring? Athletic clothes and shoes, a water bottle, athletic cup and a mouth guard. no jeans, work boots or non athletic attire. You will not be able to participate without these items. 

❓What to expect? You will need to sign a waiver and code of conduct to participate. This practice is a beginner focused introduction to the international sport of Buhurt, and our team led by @Paxton Smith. Paxton will provide instruction through basic weapon principles, grappling techniques and other Buhurt beginner concepts. This is not an armored practice 

We have soft kit helmets, gloves and weapons for people to try out. This practice is co-ed.
